Consumer Behavior
The standard model of consumer behavior in economics assumes that consumers are the best judges of what they want. But what if consumer choices can be influenced, and consumers end up making choices that they wish they hadn't? In the US housing bubble, infomercials promoted "get rich quick" real-estate courses. What - if anything - should we do in situations where people appear to be enticing others to make decisions they don't really understand?
